Top 80 Most Valuable Vinyl Records

These are commonly depicted by their diameter in inches such as 12, 10 and 7-inch, the rotational speed in cycles every moment (rpm) at which they are played (8 1⁄3, 16 2⁄3, 33 1⁄3, 45, 78), and their time limit, dictated by their diameter and speed (LP) long playing. The moniker “vinyl” is used because they’re made of polyvinyl chloride. Some of these are old, and some are related to the modern age of Vinyl. How to Determine the MOST VALUABLE VINYL RECORDS

The most valuable vinyl records are categorised on the following basis:

  • The uniqueness of vinyl Record
  • Antiqueness
  • Manufacturing procedure and cost

Different Types of records are discussed above.

78 RPM Record:

Manufactured until the late 1950s, these most valuable vinyl records made 78 rounds per minute and conveyed distinctly around five minutes of sound. The delicate records were made with shellac.

33 RPM Record or LPs:

Long Play turned at 33 and one-third cycles for each moment. Effectively presented in 1948, they played for around 25 minutes for every side. So, 33 1/3 RPM “Long Play” records hold a whole album.

45 RPM Record:

Only 7 inches (17.5 centimeters) in distance across, the 45 appeared in 1949 and was regularly called a “solitary,” as it held one melody on each side.
